if there has been a 'Crash Commando' level made in LBP?

if not then i think i'll have to make one Very Happy

i was just playing it and realised how easy a transfer of gameplay would be to LBP Smile
i just need a way to make jet packs times so you don't just fly around :/

hmm any ideas from people of how to solve that problem?

and in the game you have a jetpack but you can only use it in short times so you can fly but after X amount of time using the jetpack it stops and needs to recharge

Maybe a tether jetpack with a invulnerable brain that breaks after a certain time but then respawns are available thorughout?

Are you sure? Did you test it, because I was flying in create mode with a tethered jetpack and when it broke my sackboy lost his jetpack. bounce

yes i have tryed it i was going to use it in another levle but it failed Sad

and i don't know about the physical crushing it might have the same effect as a brain

I have no idea what game you're talking about, but...

Try putting a proximity switch at the place you get your jetpack. This will start a timer set to however long you want the player to be able to fly (timer uses a piston, magnetic keys, ect...). When the timer finishes, a wall comes down from the sky very quickly with the 'Enhancment Remover' things glue on every square inch of it, so when it comes down, it forces you off of the jetpack. Then the timer resets.

Only problem is if the enviroment has lots of hills and stuff, the wall will have to come down so it doesn't crush any thing, but still gets you No

Yeah, this idea sucks lol!

Yes...you could make sections where you have to pass through a gap with a powerup remover. Razz

Aww, but doing it that way is boring, having a limit is so much more clever!

You could have a player tracking device bring an infinite life checkpoint with you as you fly along and follow you. Then when the time limit is up, a wall of gas comes and you die, loosing you're jetpack but not going back far...

Barby was talking about a crash comando level lbp style and that it had sections of jetpacking but it would run out and you had to wait for it to recharge...

IDK if you can do this but in create mode get your sack using the jetpack then... Oh never mind wouldn't work.

How about if you just make a row of enhancement removers come down and remove the jetpack then once the timer starts over another jetpack will appear or something like that.
