I am probably gonna get a HD PVR right after buy CS4 Master Collection for $300 and Acronis True Image so I can put all of my games onto the computer I just built and the game saves without having to reinstall.

What PVR do you have?

It shouldn't it's a separate appliance, so it wont affect the games performance.
E.g if you're recording a tv show, will there be problems? no...it's just recording the output images and no imputing on the ps3... uhhh I think that's right.

The PVR takes the signal from the PS3 and sends it the TV and the Computer to record.

wow. technology sure has evolved since the days of having to use film to tape. pretty soon (E.G. several years) We'll be able to play against aliens on mars! But not yet. otherwise the lag would be horrible.

I believe in the not too distant future, there will be an invention to completely abolish LAG, I would love to play without any lag at all... *day dreams*

Well when all the IPv4 addresses run out and they have to release IPv6 it might not be as laggy because they are supposed to transfer packets better.
