who are/were the best companys?

take into the fact the time they were around and the best console they had at the time
so don't just think Sony because the PS3 owns the Mega Drive (or Saga Saturn to Americans)
that's not a fair fight Razz

Choose the best 2 in your opinion

i had 2 say sont and microsoft, cos without microsoft internet may have never been created, and sony cos of ps3 and stuff and LBP since lbp is ps3 exclusive

I have to correct you there. Microsoft did not invent the internet. That was a government project in the 50's and 60's before WWII. They wanted a better way to talk in the event that radio signal was lost and such. Microsoft was just the first to make the personal computer, therefore making it accessible to the general population.

And I will have to correct you there. Microsoft was one of the first to make a successful operating system. The first recognized PC was the Altair.

I went with sony and nintendo mainly because they hold the classics (ps1 and 64)that hold an important part to my child hood (5-11) classics like Zelda: OoT, majoras mask, crash bandicoot, mario 64, ect. I miss those consoles dearly

Point taken. I failed to mention that Sad Microsoft was indeed to first to make the first OS...
