Good luck. Just hope that you know that all YLoD are fatal, cause I got it once and just restarted.

Also some things to keep in mind:
Intercoolers help to reduce the chances of YLoD.
If it freezes a lot that means a YLoD may be paying you a visit.
If it does freeze a lot consider backing up everything a getting a new HDD.
Some people say taking the disk out helps prevent the YLoD.
Also set your console down make sure it is not standing up.

Yes, they do help to prevent the YLoD, but they actually do quite a bit of harm to the inner workings of the console.
